$25.00
sold out

This little ceramic vase is a darling little companion - perfect for your desk, nightstand, windowsill, and on a giant wooden pedestal which is placed directly in front of the entrance of your home for all your guests to see. Roughly 4.5 inches tall, she is decorated with hand-painted flowers, inspired by a William Morris pattern. Ideal for a little paperweight, tchotchke shelf, normal shelf, or desk.

This piece was hand thrown and altered, with the flowers freehand painted onto her in colored slip. She was then fired, glazed with transparent glaze, and fired once more.

The botanical ceramics in this collection, Fairly Floral, are an experiment in style, as well as an exploration of freehand painting and carving techniques. They boast a warm palette of colors, and their blooming florals and leafy foliage have simply been a delight to create and to share.
